Brand Marketing and Identity Presentations – Café
Visual Identity Presentation, Style Guides, Training Manuals
The Brief
Small businesses and hospitality in particular are usually working in the business and day-to-day and have not got the time or headspace to develop brand or marketing materials. A local café owner asked Olsonwells to develop an identity for an inner-city cafe location, which encapsulated the existing geography, iconography and local Italian neighbourhood personality into the café brand.
The Idea
Defining and expressing a unified voice from the three different brands within the café environment was a challenging one, both culturally and spatially. 3D signage proposed to unify the different stakeholders in the brand, both internally and externally. Brand purpose and voice were combined in an array of menu boards, uniforms and stationery, and translated into digital terms via the website and social media.
Brand ambassadorship was important also, so the visual identity presentation became a communication tool for the business owners to communicate proposed improvements to their audiences – over coffee of course!”
The Execution
Italian flavours of coffee and food influenced the stationery, signage and colourful local feel of the script-based logotypes. Olsonwells also offers the development of brand documentation such as Style Guides and Training Manuals.
Note the project was concept only but this comunication process is the approach generally used to map brand identity for existing client brands. For more information, please download the free Presentation PDF below, and if you have any further enquiries please get in touch with Olsonwells below.
